Here we are...May. We are leaving for a six week trip to the good 'ol U.S. of A and Beautiful British Columbia in a matter of days (well, weeks really but the kids are counting down by days)! It's so exciting! We can't wait to see all our friends, sisters, brothers, aunties, uncles, cousins, grandmas and grandpas! Yay! We hope that the summer weather decides to show up when we arrive...I believe that everyone will be happy with that :-)
For now, we'll have to finish off the list of "things to do" before we leave. I love to work under a bit of pressure so it's the best time to write myself some "to do" lists. So far, the carpets have been cleaned, toys have been organized, ipods and DS's have been repaired, itunes have all been updated, and all my photos have been backed-up and organized on the new computer! Now, just a few more things to do in the house and then the suitcases can come out and we can start the fun part...packing! :-)
We've been busy with birthdays the last six weeks. We recently celebrated, Braden's 6th birthday, Brad's 38th, Elyssa's 13th and Justin's 2nd birthday! Shayna had her 10th birthday in February a little ahead of the birthday rush in our house :-) What fun! It seems we've had plenty of parties around here and what a blessing that is.
